Hi all,
We had such a wonderful first week back. It was exciting to see everyone and hear about all of the fun things they did over the break.
This week was about getting back into the groove of things, which included learning about our new theme and project AND beginning our research. Everyone was assigned their groups and the system they are to become experts in. They showed a lot of enthusiasm and are on their way!!
We also had a lot of construction play during choice time this week, which was a pleasant surprise! Students used cardboard boxes to create items such as vending machines, bookshelves, cars, and more! (so if you have any amazon boxes laying around, we'd love to take them off your hands!)
Perhaps the most exciting event of the week was Logan bringing in some furry friends to the classroom: Gizmo and Ranger! We had such a wonderful experience having classroom pets for the day :)
